Newland Project Resources (NPRI) has been retained by a private landowner to assist them in the development of a single family home on their property. Known as the Ivanhoe Millsite, this property is an inholding within the White River National Forest. NPRI was responsible for gaining the land use approvals from the federal government and Pitkin County to place an access road across federal lands to the property. Once legal access was gained, NPRI managed the work required to place the road and bridge to access the site, as well as providing utilities to the parcel. Additionally, the owner plans on constructing a house and garage on the parcel and has retained NPRI to obtain the required Pitkin County land use approvals and permits and to represent them through the construction process.
